ACTING! - Grades 2nd-4th, and Grades 5th-8th
Young actors will build their performance skills and confidence in a fun and relaxed atmosphere as they take the stage in this introductory acting class. Students will learn basic acting techniques while practicing scenes and monologues. Skills learned in acting are useful on stage and in everyday expression and communication. No previous experience necessary, just the willingness to have fun on stage.
This is a very limited class size of no more than 12 students.

The Drama Club’s VJM 3 Week Musical Production: Finding Nemo Jr.
Disney’s Finding Nemo JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo, with new music by award-winning songwriting team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.
This production is for kids who love performing on stage and want to develop their acting, singing, and dancing. Younger performers will focus on singing and dancing in ensemble numbers. Held at Villa Joseph Marie Performing Arts Center - 1180 Holland Rd, Southampton, PA 18966.
This production is open to boys and girls entering grades 1st-9th (with 1st-4th graders focusing on ensemble songs and dances).

The Drama Club’s 3 Week Musical Production: Elf Jr.
It's Christmas in July!! Buddy, a young orphan, mistakenly crawls into Santa's bag of gifts and is transported to the North Pole. The would-be elf is raised, unaware that he is actually a human, until his enormous size and poor toy-making abilities cause him to face the truth. With Santa's permission, Buddy embarks on a journey to New York City to find his birth father and discover his true identity. Faced with the harsh reality that his father is on the naughty list and that his half-brother doesn't even believe in Santa, Buddy is determined to win over his new family and help New York remember the true meaning of Christmas.
This modern-day holiday classic is sure to make every young performer embrace his or her "inner elf" with plenty of large ensemble numbers featuring elves and (New Yorkers) of every type

How will this naïve newbie rise to the top of the popularity pecking order? By taking on The Plastics, a trio of lionized frenemies led by the charming but ruthless Regina George. But when Cady and her friends devise a "Revenge Party" to end Regina’s reign, she learns the hard way that you can’t cross a Queen Bee without getting stung.
